The “KiJuWu” children’s and youth house in Wurzen
|The Kinder- und Jugendhaus Wurzen (“KiJuWu”) is a place where children and teenagers who need help on their way through adulthood can go in their free time. They can help with their homework along with learning many practical things and strategies for daily life.It is only possible to keep such institutions alive because of their supporters and sponsors, and HOFFMANN Fördertechnik GmbH Wurzen donates a considerable amount to KiJuWu each year and finances a ‘holiday fun trip’; children get the chance to take part in the KiJuWu Summer holiday to the Baltic Sea in Germany.|
The Vivarium in Dornreichenbach
The goal of the Vivarium in Dornreichenbach in Saxony is to breed and take care of indigenous and endangered animals. The meerkats cage (the biggest in Saxony) is a great attraction for young and old. This was possible because of the energetic and financial support of HOFFMANN Fördertechnik GmbH Wurzen and many other companies.
The Schwarz-Gelb e.V. rowing club in Wurzen
On 11th June 2016 Brigitta and Matthias Hühn christened the new rowboat, which was an award given for the upgrade into the federal division. We were very pleased to support the Wurzener Ruderverein Schwarz-Gelb e.V. with the purchase of the new flagship and wish them continued success for the future.
The Wurzen rowing club, home to Philipp Wende, our newly-minted Olympic champion in the men’s coxless fours, was supported by our firm with the purchase of a coxless one and eight.
