We are LIFTKET

‘We are LIFTKET’ – insight into the team.

Simone Gasch, 43, from Mügeln, has been part of the LIFTKET family since 2013. After starting in Hall 66 (groove cutting), she switched to housing production in Hall 68 – and quickly found her place there. ‘I’ve settled in well and feel very comfortable here,’ she says.

The married mother returned smoothly in 2016 after a year of parental leave – despite the shift system and family commitments. ‘Many people didn’t think it would work as a mother with three shifts. But with support, it works,’ she says proudly.

Today, Simone looks after seven machines that produce housings and covers for our chain hoists. She measures and checks parts, looks after the equipment and constantly contributes ideas on how to improve the work. What she loves about her job is working with machines and the precision craftsmanship involved. She originally trained as a textile machine operator and worked in a spinning mill before making the career change to LIFTKET.

In her free time, Simone enjoys spending time with her son, taking care of her house and garden, and travelling to the south to soak up the sun. For the future at LIFTKET, she hopes above all that preventive maintenance and care of the machines will be further improved. ‘A lot has already been done, and that should continue,’ she says with satisfaction.
